  • Issue#194412: Acer - TravelMate P645 - MG with AMD Radeon HD 8750M cant wake after sleep on Windows 10

The sleep problem in Windows 10 isn't new, but nobody from Acer is doing something to figure it out for this model. There are fixes for this card for HP, Dell and other brand in the forums, but for this most expensive Acer model doesn't have any solution. Please Acer, respond how to fix this sleep issue, I tried fresh Windows install with right drivers from the acer support website, also with latest drivers from AMD for the video card (there are a lot more problems with these drivers). Also tried with different drivers for Intel Management Engine Interface. I waited over a year for solution with hope, but there is no hope already the new model is out and nobody cares about previous. The problem is there, when you put your laptop to sleep, after that cant be waked up, you should stop it with power button hold. If anyone from the community knows solution I will be grateful! Thanks in advance!

  • Issue#159459: AMD Radeon HD 8570D Vulkan compatible driver

HiI want to test out Vulkan SDK however I seem to have run into the problem of not having a working driver for my graphics card. I'm using: Radeon HD 8570D driver version: 15.301.1801.1001. According to all the references that I've been able to find this card IS compatible with the VulkanSDK however this doesn't seem to be the case. The driver installer that I've downloaded and attempted to install is here: support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Vulkan-Beta.aspx but during the installation there were no components and no reference to an update for my graphics card driver itself. Before it's asked, I have done this on a system where all ATI drivers were removed using DDU. I've manually tried to update the graphics card driver using: Windows' Device Manager -> Specify driver directory to update. This installs the version "16.1..." driver inside Device Manager BUT afterwards Crimson and CCC both don't recognise my graphics card. Therefore I had to revert back to driver ver

  • Issue#161715: Multiple monitor issue (windows 7/amd video cards)

Greetings,I have a user running a desktop with 4 connected monitors. They are all on extended view. However, one of them keeps loosing connection. It does not seem to be monitor specific, usually between 2 separate ones. The strange thing is, is that this didnt start happening until AFTER we unplugged it for maintenance. We plugged it back in and the problem started happening. The cable/connections seem to be fine/undamaged. The PC itself has 2 video cards in PCI x slots. All monitors are running off long vga cables (monitors are on second floor while computers themselves are on a floor below). -2 monitors are running on vga to display port adaptors-2 monitors are running on vga to dvi adaptors (each vid car has a dvi and display port)The video cards are AMD HD 7420?. I updated the drivers to latest release. That did not help. I also...

  • Issue#167306: HP - Update for HDMI, Windows 10, AMD Radeon Graphics problems

I am posting a solution that involves three extra steps for those having trouble with laptop HDMI output, Intel/AMD switchable graphics and Windows 10.  I have the AMD Radeon HD 5650 graphics.  If you download this driver from the AMD website below, you can plug in to your HDMI port on laptop and extend your second monitor AFTER YOU START UP.  The second monitor will make use of the AMD Radeon HD graphics while your laptop appears to still use the old Intel graphics.   The inconvenient catch, however, is that if I restart the laptop with the external monitor already plugged in to the laptop at the HDMI port, I get black screen on startup and have to force shutdown.  I have to start the laptop with nothing plugged in to laptop HDMI port, then plug the external monitor in to the HDMI port and then extend to second monitor using the keyboard command, Windows key + P.   Because of these three extra steps, plug in to HDMI port, extend with keyboard command

  • Issue#378201: HP Pavilion 550z compatible with AMD Radeon HD 6670 Video Card?

HI, I am a Computer Consultant/System Builder and I have been researching this issue all day.  I have not been able to find anything definite.  HP Chat could not give me any specific information.  Can anyone tell me if I can use an AMD Radeon HD 6670 Video Card in a HP Pavilion 550z ( Windows 7 Pro 64-bit version )?( As configured, this model has the on-board graphics, with DVI/HDMI,  but apparently does NOT have a VGA Port, which my husband needs. He has a Radeon HD 6670, which does have the VGA; and it will work with Windows 7.  It is a good card, I would like to use it, if possible. )Any thoughts on this? Thanks,Ogustmoon

Hey guys, since Windows 10 came out I have been trying to upgrade, but every time I do, my graphics keep creeping out, when I download the drivers using Windows Update (as per HP Support page) it recognizes it as being a complete different model and video still doesn't work well, I tried the drivers from AMD and they also show the same thing. I contacted AMD and they told me I have to get in touch with the manufacturer, because the drivers might have been changed by them to accomodate the video card. What can I do? Thanks_.

Good afternoon, about a week ago, the problems started with a discrete graphics card amd radeon hd 8750m on Lenovo g500.I did nothing strange with it, drivers also weren't update. The problem is that when you turn on the laptop, which runs on windows 10 it passes 30 seconds and the image freezes, nothing can be done, except to pull the battery, and the notification is displayed "amd video driver stopped responding and has been restored."If you have time to turn off the video card through the Device Manager, the laptop was working. upd. Put different drivers, the latter which downloaded (15.300.1025.1001) slightly changed the situation, and now the laptop repeatedly displays a notification above mentioned and further in the Device Manager shows the "Windows System stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) "
