  • The news today that BlackBerry abandons this programe means the end of 10 OS! Basically device business is dead better revenue to develop directly for Google and or iOS. BlackBerry has abandon us!

    I have attempted to sort this too many times and support on Twitter... which I do use, keeps saying they do not understand. I have a blackberry Z10, when I first set up my ID the contact e-mail address was for the business I worked for. I have not worked for that business for 4 years. I keep being asked to verify my Black Berry ID, the e-mail address is no longer valid, I will not see a reply, I now have a warning saying if the next attempt is incorrect, I will be unable to use black berry ID for 15 minutes???? All I want to do is change my ID e-mail address How do I do it?

    Hi, I had been using my favorite BB Q20 Classic for 3 months.I got my handset from the Singapore Mobile Carrier M1 and the handset is said to be brand new,  legal and authentic. Previously the earpiece is working pretty well. But Just a week ago, I use a local brand earpiece; as of I prefer the in ear type. Afterward, I noticed that the original earpiece that provided with the device is not working.The earpiece itself is confirmed not defect. I found that the earpiece came into operation intermittently but soon turn off while calls still ongoing.The assumption of the problem is pointing to the Audio Out Line and Port.Hence, kindly address this issue to respective technician to fix this. MBS

    After scouring the internet and opening tickets with Blackberry I can confirm 100% that the battery drainage and heat issue with the Blackberry Priv for T-Mobile users is due to: The My T-Mobile app.  When you go online you read lots of replies and gets lot of people offering advice (turn your display down, turn off your location, turn off sync, etc, etc). I tried them all.Once I disabled and uninstalled the my tmobile app (I actually deleted all t-mobile apps) the problem was solved. It was like I had a new phone. I highly recommend this for T-Mobile users. Good luck!

     I spent the better part of 2 hours with bb level 2 tech support. Read this through before you start NetworkTMOBILE OK we had to reset the entire phone Then we updated the standard apps / using playstoreThen updated the OSOS / using TM Then loaded the apps I was using Then updated these /using playstore  We backed up the phone .. Using Super Backup Took some time .. Battery life now awesome including surfing web.. All day plenty battery to go.  I did turn off a lot of the unnecessary features on the MyTmobile app. Shut off all the advertising push ****bleep** * as well and the continuous TM usage notifications. I did leave the security and health monitoring set to 24hrs operational.  I did change the network setting to LTE 4g3g no 2g  I dis turn off the auto connect for wi-fi .. But that's  just me making my phone more secure. I want to control.  This is one way to fix the two issues. Go

    hi there,using BB PRIV Build AAD444 Kernel 3.10.49 latest patch 1st feb 2016. i configured exchange email in BB HUB with our corporate mail server exchange 2010. since then syncing is on, the device is hot and, this is more terrifying, our exchange logs explodes. active sync is polling estimated 8-50 (!) MB logfiles per minute when sync is on. when turning off the sync on the phone, logs getting normal. configuring other options like sync interval or others make no difference, polling is extreme high. if you need more information, please let me know. thanks in advance Swen

      Hi, I recently purchased a BB Passport and when configuring it I totally forgot that I had to use the Blackberry ID I already had, and so created a new one and use that one to configure my new purchase. When trying to get the info from my Password keeper, I quicly realised the error and so tried to log in with my old Blackberry ID on my Passport. Unfortunately it said that  I had to log with the ID I had used to configure it, so decided to delete this ID with the link provided to confirm email when I created it. So now, I couldnt use neither of them, the new or the old. Decided try to recover the new one but now it doesnt work. How can I reset my Passport to factory setting? So that I can start all over nd use the right Blackberry ID (the old one)??? Please help

    Colleagues,  I had almost 1000 pictures in my Z30 built-in camera storage area.  To my knowledge the built-in storage area was not getting full.  In fact, I see now there is still only 7.2GB used of a total available space of 16GB.  I certainly did not receive any onscreen message that the camera built-in storage area was getting full.  I have been using "BB story maker" to make stories with these pictures.  When adding some of these pictures to an existing story, I got a message that story maker could not access some media files(pictures) and I was asked to "cancel" or "remove" the requested files (pictures).  I clicked "cancel" several times and that only left me with a story update in pending mode.  Finally, I clicked "remove" and the original story came back up.  However, I then noted that my entire 1000 picture collection was gone from my camera built-in storage area.  I do not

    Hi guys,I have bought my Priv one week ago. There are two BIG issues: 1. Phone is not able to connect to PC. I have tried all four Setting->Storage modes, have installed official USB driver, tried on W7-64 and W10-64 but phone didn't appear as a disc on PC at all. Nothing. 2. Yesterday evening I have depleted battery flat for first time after taking photos. Phone turned off itself because 1% battery capacity. So far I have managed to recharge battery before phone turned itself off. All understandable. However when I have plugged phone to USB charger, phone remained dead. Even after 1 hour of charging all I can see on display is battery icon with exclamation mark in it. Impossible to start. ... I like this phone, hope I will not come to decisions to return it.     I changed/created new login details (email address/password) on Blackberry's website. I then security wiped the phone to start afresh. During the phone's setup procedure I was required to login with my Blackberry ID and the reason was because I had the Blackberry Protect anti-theft feature on. The problem is it does not recognize my login details even though they are correct and it shows a red exclamation mark at the end of the email part. Tried it about four times without luck.  I tried to re-upload the firmware with Blackberry link but after a while it stops and the phone starts and stays at the login setup page. I then get a notice on Blackberry link saying it cannot go any further until I complete the setup. Now am stuck at that setup page and cannot use the phone further. Any help much appreciated.

    Hi, we have developed an app that works fine for LEAP, Z3, Z10 but it seems not to be working with Q5. Our app is basically an ionic (cordova) big REST client and the apps loads fine but every $http request returns al error, we know that no request ever gets to the server (via server logs) and that's why we thought of a CORS issue. The config xml includes: <access origin="*"/><allow-navigation href="*"/><preference name="WebSecurity" value="disable"/>  so there should not be a CORS issue but that's still my best bet,  Any clue?

    My Bold 9900 browser is deader than a doornail through the server (Rogers, in Canada) I can get internet access thru wifi networks but not at home just using the browser.  Rogers tried a system reset that didn't work and gave me a new sim card but it still doesn't work. They think it's the actual Blackberry hardware now.  I backed the phone up on the desktop app and reloaded the os but it's still not working. Ideas?? Could it be a failure of the phone hardware?
